Contrast In Your Nail Art

Before the application of any kind of nail polish, you have to prepare the nails for the decoration – file them, clean them and exfoliate them. Sometimes your nails look even and well filed, but when the nail polish is on, the little mistakes show off. So, file the nails into a proper shape according to the decoration. In this case, the square nail shape is appropriate. Because the decoration is geometrical and large, and the square shape makes the nail larger, which means that there is more room for decorations.

After the shape is ready, clean the nails with nail polish remover.

Exfoliate the nails and the skin around them in order to remove any trace of cuticles and dirt.

Then apply primer to the nails. The primer is simply a colorless nail polish. This transparent layer will protect the nails from yellowing, because some of the nail polishes are capable of this cruelty when we talk about the healthy condition of your nails.

After the base coat is set and dry, you can move to the next step, which is the application of the base color – white nail polish.

Apply two layers of the white color and let it dry completely.

Then cut out a sunrays-like piece of tape and stick it to the bottom corner of the nail.

Paint the tip area of the nails with black nail polish. If it is not opaque, apply two layers.

Then wait a minute before the removing of the tape piece in order to prevent any smudging because of too liquid nail polish.

And when the decoration is all dry, you have to lock it with a thick layers of top coat.

If you you want to save the decoration for long time, reapply the topcoat every two days.

Enjoy!
